The Saints Prison Ministry is pleased to announce it is expanding to the Carolinas. Rev. Jim Korth has been called to serve as the Carolina Branch Coordinator beginning October 1, 2007. As Branch Coordinator, Jim will be responsible for the recruitment and training of missionary athletes, along with building relationships with church-based volunteers, pastors, Department of Corrections' staff, and prison chaplains
Jim is no stranger to The Saints. He was serving as Senior Pastor at Moorestown Bible Church when the ministry was started in 1987. Jim served on The Saints Board and played on The Saints' softball, basketball, and volleyball teams. He was named Basketball MVP in 1993 and Outstanding Supporter in 1997.
After several years of ministry in Western New York, Jim and his family moved to Charlotte, NC where he works as a Workforce Development Professional. Jim and his wife, Margaret, have three children and they are active in the ministry at Next Level Church in Matthews, NC.
